The amateurs and the experts will appreciate the grand variety of museums in the city. The Museum of Ancient Art is situated near the place Royale. The permanent exhibition is about paintings and sculptures from the 15th to 17th century. There is a remarkable collection of Primitive Flemish artists and pieces of  Peter-Paul Rubens. The Museum of Modern Art shows art from the end of the 18th century up to our days. A special room is dedicated to the painter Rene Magritte, where the biggest part of his works is kept. Pieter Bruegel, Rembrandt, Jacque-Louis David, Ingres, Géricault, Delacroix, and many others are housed in this Art’s temple. The Bozar center groups 8 poles (architecture, cinema, dance, expo, literature, music, theatre, studios) to offer you a complete season of art all around the city, to insert the art inside the city’s life. The place to be for the ones who love arts is the Sablon Place. Around that place, you’ll find numbers of art galleries, antiquaires, and art shops. Brussels has its own Taschen Store, with every art-books you can imagine. There are also numbers of exhibitions in the streets during all the year. Brussels is a creative and young city where the art has its own place.
