1: That’s Opera.

A relevant exhibition on the history and production of Italian opera. For the 200years of the Recordi’s home edition, this special installation takes place in Tour&Taxis. A marvellous and fascinating visit inside the production of an opera, from the writing to the representation. Don’t hesitate to ask for an audio guide in English, because the exhibition will be clearly better with a Puccini’s air in the headphones!

For the ones who love the opera and the others who don’t.

2 : StandUp

3 : R99

 

This is an activity for the people who would like to approach a new wine experience. R99 gets up lot of wine workshop and wine tastings. As a wine consulting, R99 organises wine appreciation course over a five week period or during what they called a “wine weekend bootcamp”, a camp with lot of wine, that’s for sure! They’ll show you many unknowns parts of the wine’s world, how to appreciate wine, and you’ll certainly make discoveries about how to match wines and food.

Be careful and book in advance, places are limited!

4 : Fat Boy’s Bar

 

Warning! This is special contain for men, sniffing testosterone. The Fat Boy’s bar is… a bar. A sports’ bar. Situated near the European Parliament, it is the meet-point for the European middle age class. Everybody’s talking English here. In addition to the fact that the owner is American, the screens hanging on all over the walls are diffusing the essential of the English or American sports (soccer, rugby, hockey). If you don’t know where to watch your favourite sport, just check on their website, and rush in the place! Eat hamburgers and drink beer while you’re watching sports. What more do you want?

5 : Museum of chocolate and cocoa

 

The first thing you notice when you pass the door is the smell. A wonderful smell of chocolate. During the visit, you can try Belgian chocolate and speculoos, a Belgian cookies. You’ll be informed about the story of the chocolate all around the world, from the cocoa beans to the pralines. The Museum of chocolate and cocoa (Mcc) is a familial museum. There is two-floor to visit, with a collection of porcelains, chocolate dresses, and things around the world of the chocolate. There is also a presentation about how we make chocolates here in Belgium, made by a master of chocolate. All the information are explained in French, Dutch and English. Let you conduct in a world of great sensations.
